We had a really nasty ice storm this year that just devastated many of the trees and ripped the electric service right out of my house. We were out of power for 2 weeks. It took me months just to clean up the yard. It all looks pretty good now but some of the trees are kinda funny looking and a few will just have to come down I think.
Here in Oklahoma we had a TERRIBLE ice storm in Dec 2007. I personally was 10 days without electricity at my house. I really dont care to go through that again!
